Yesterday, on Tuesday, December 22, we booked a tour with MyBaliTrips. Right on time, our guide, Ni Nenga, a very friendly and lovely woman, arrived. We visited what I believe to be the most beautiful places on the island, but each one deserves a more detailed story. First was the Monkey Forest, where in addition to these amusing animals, we were able to see, feed, and even pet the most unusual creatures - flying foxes. It was beyond imagination! We visited an ancient 11th-century temple - the Holy Water Temple, where, if you wish, you can have a purification ceremony (as my wonderful guide suggested). The atmosphere of tranquility and spiritual balance in this place is amazing! The stunning views of the rice terraces and flying over them will never be forgotten. At the coffee plantations, we not only saw how coffee and the most exotic fruits grow, but also tasted teas and coffee, ground with our own hands in a large mortar. And most unexpectedly, we got to interact with the fantastic civet. Besides coffee, they happily ate the banana that Ni Nenga gave me. At my request, we stopped at the artisan village to select souvenirs - finely handcrafted wooden figurines. And at the end of the tour, I plunged into a waterfall in an amazingly beautiful place. Perhaps the film "Jurassic Park" was shot there? The waterfall charged me with such energy! Along the way, guide Ni Nenga told us many interesting things about the traditions and culture of the Balinese, and thanks to her, I am in awe of the people and nature of this paradise! I was very lucky with the guide: she is an extraordinarily charming and bright person! We parted like family! (Review from my mom, who visited)
