One of the most charming and breath taking peak is Mount Abang in the south-eastern wall of the caldera next to Mt. Batur and once is a part of a volcano, it is the third highest peak (2,151m) in Bali just behind Mount Agung and Mount Batukaru.
The way to the top passes though a marvellous smoky forest with many centuries-old trees directly to the sunrise where you can feel yourself as a part of mystery fairy tale above the clouds and magnetic Island.
At the peak of Mount Abang tourists will find a split gates and several altars of an ancient temple, that was destroyed at 1926 by landslides effected by eruption of Mt. Batur.

What To Expect

Morning transfer to Mount Abang

The driver of Nadya Tour transport company arrives at your hotel at a scheduled time; you should wait for the car at the reception of your hotel or in front of your villa. The transfer goes to Mount Abang when everyone gathers. At the meeting point, you will meet your guide, who will hold a short briefing and provide flashlights.

Climbing Mount Abang

Climbing Mount Abang starts at 3 a.m. To make the trekking to the height of 2 151 meters above the sea more comfortable, there are several stops on the way. You will climb to the top of the mount at sunrise. There reveals an amazing view of caldera and the mountain lake, surrounded with the morning mist. On the top of the mount, a light breakfast with bread, boiled egg, fresh fruit and tea or coffee will be served for you. You will have plenty of time to enjoy the sunrise and take beautiful pictures. Then you will start the tracking back to the meeting point. The driver will meet you at the parking area.

Return transfer

After everybody gathers, the transfer starts and takes you back to your hotel or villa. The arrival time depends on traffic and your destination.

Please note

  • In accordance with paragraph 7.3.3 of the Terms and Conditions, MyBaliTrips.com Company is not responsible for weather conditions on the date of your climb. The weather on the top of Abang Mount is unpredictable; fog, rain and low visibility are possible on the climb, especially in the rain season;
  • if an individual transfer from three or more different areas, then the surcharge for the car is 150 000 rupiah.

Cancellation Policy

  • We give a refund for the service retaining 10% of the payment amount, if the customer makes the cancellation at least 48 hours before the event starts or if there is an official document on hospitalization from the hospital.
  • Refunds are made at the exchange rate set by the Bank of Indonesia on the day of payment.
  • We give a full refund in case the provider can't render the service.
  • We review the issue of a refund up to 5 business days from the date of custumer's application.
  • We provide a refund within 5 banking days from the moment the decision on the return is agreed.
