What To Expect
Day 1
Transfer: Surabaya Airport – Madakaripura Waterfall
09:00-10:00 - our team will meet you at Surabaya Airport. Then we will go towards Madakaripura Waterfall. Travel time is about 2 hours by car, then another 45 minutes by motorcycle taxi and 2 km on foot. Then you will have free time to walk along the picturesque waterfall and take a photo. Swimming is prohibited here.
13:30-15:00 - the road to the hotel in the village of Chemoro Lavang. After checking in, you will have free time. If desired, in the afternoon you can go to the Penanjakan observation deck to enjoy the colorful sunset.
Day 2
Sunrise on Bromo – Bromo Volcano Crater
03:00 - We leave the hotel in a four-wheel drive jeep in order to be in time for dawn. An unforgettable excursion to the Bromo volcano awaits us.
At 4:00 in the morning we will arrive at the observation deck on Mount Penanjakan, where on the edge of the Tengger caldera the breath is taken away with delight – such an incredible view opens to the ascending panorama of Bromo. Here we will meet the dawn.
At 06:00 in the morning we will return to the jeeps and drive through the “Sea of Sand” – a sandy plain with an incredible view of the volcanic terrain. Then we will climb to the active volcano. Having overcome 240 steps, we will find ourselves at its top and will be able to see the crater of the volcano and the amazing Martian landscape around. After that, we return to the jeep and go to the hotel: we have breakfast, pack our things and have some rest.
At 10:00 am we leave in the direction of the Tumpak Sewu Hotel. Travel time is about 5 hours.
Day 3
Tumpak Sewu Waterfall - Airport Surabaya
04:00 we leave in the direction of the Tumpak Sevu waterfall. Travel time is about 2 hours. First we will explore the waterfall from the observation deck, then we will go down. The trek is quite difficult and will take about 30 minutes. Then you will have free time to enjoy the waterfall and take a photo.
Then by 11 o'clock we will return to the hotel, where you can have breakfast and relax a little before going to the airport
We will return to Surabaya by 15:00.
Important information:
- the time indicated in the travel plan is approximate and may change due to weather or other conditions;
- according to the terms of service paragraph 7.3.3 MyBaliTrips.com is not responsible for the weather on the dates of your trekking. The weather in the caldera of Bromo is unpredictable. There might be rain, fog or low visibility. The risk of it gets higher in raining season;
- at the top of the Bromo volcano the temperature can drop to +7 - +3 degrees, we strongly recommend that you take warm clothes: jackets, hats, warm pants, sweaters, several cotton T-shirts, socks and comfortable shoes.
Cancellation Policy
- We give a refund for the service retaining 10% of the payment amount, if the customer makes the cancellation at least 48 hours before the event starts or if there is an official document on hospitalization from the hospital.
- Refunds are made at the exchange rate set by the Bank of Indonesia on the day of payment.
- We give a full refund in case the provider can't render the service.
- We review the issue of a refund up to 5 business days from the date of costumer's application.
- We provide a refund within 5 banking days from the moment the decision on the return is agreed.
