Arrivals at the centre are scheduled daily after noon.
On day one you will arrive at an award-winning retreat centre nested on the banks of the Ayung River, just south of Ubud. You will be greeted by the wellness liaison team who will talk you through the programme. There will also be an opportunity to discuss your individual needs with the members of the team. Following the introduction, you will be served with a fresh juice or smoothie. In the afternoon you will receive a body care ritual called Boreh. It is translated from Balinese as “bringing body back to life” and involves applying a mix of herbs and spices that promote deep relaxation and cure the body at the cellular level. In the evening you will be served a wholesome vegetarian welcome dinner.
- Day 2. Yoga and healing sessions
Wake up to the peaceful sounds of this eco-conscious retreat centre to join the signature Five Elements group morning yoga class. The yoga session will be followed by a plant-based breakfast in the lush surroundings of the award-winning Sakti dining room.
There will be two healing sessions today. The initial session, held before noon, is dedicated to the profound practice of healing and aligning your energy with elevated vibrational frequencies. This transformative experience is designed to promote physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Expert traditional healers guide you through techniques and rituals aimed at fostering a sense of balance and rejuvenation, allowing for a deeper connection with oneself. Following a satisfying lunch, the second session unfolds as a ceremonial immersion in the purifying power of water known as Melukat. This cleansing ritual is a symbolic and holistic journey, incorporating traditional elements to purify the body, mind, and spirit. The ceremony aims to wash away any lingering tensions, cleanse the soul, and create a renewed sense of clarity and vitality. Participants emerge from this water purification ceremony feeling refreshed, revitalised, and spiritually invigorated. Together, these sessions offer a harmonious blend of healing practices and purification ceremonies, contributing to a comprehensive and enriching retreat experience.
Throughout the day you will be served delicious vegetarian breakfast, lunch, dinner and a smoothie or juice.
- Day 3. Yoga and traditional massages
You will wake up to join the Five Elements morning yoga session followed by a plant-based breakfast. Today you will have two powerful regenerating massage sessions. One – before lunch – is a 90-minute healing massage. Another – after lunch – is a 45-minute session. These signature healing massages are performed by healers from long lineages of traditional Balinese masseurs. The day will end with a powerful fire blessing ceremony Agnihotra. Agnihotra has purifying effects on the environment and the individuals participating in the ceremony. It is considered a form of energy healing that aims to create a positive impact on physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. The smoke produced during Agnihotra has medicinal properties, and the entire ritual is seen as a means of fostering harmony with nature and the cosmos. It is a sacred tradition that continues to be embraced by those seeking spiritual connection and holistic well-being.
During the day you will be served delicious vegetarian breakfast, lunch, dinner and a smoothie or juice.
- Day 4. Yoga and departures
You will wake up to join the Five Elements morning yoga session followed by a plant-based breakfast in the lush surroundings of the award-winning Sakti dining room. After breakfast you can spend the remaining time meditating, journaling, or making new friends with other guests before checking out by noon.
