What To Expect

The road to Gili Trawangan island

At the time of the meeting, the transfer will pick you up from your hotel or villa and take you to Padang Bay port.
Upon arrival, you have to checked in and the speedboat will take you to Gili Trawangan island. In the port, you will need to locate the Ostina company office. Check in is 60mins prior to departure time. The boat leaves at 10:00 a.m.
Once checked in for the trip, make sure you keep your ticket in a safe place, as you will need it on the way back. A journey to Gili Trawangan takes around 2 hours and 30 minutes. If you suffer from seasickness, please make sure to take pills an hour before departure.

Main program

Upon arrival at Gili Trawangan, you will be greeted by an escort holding a Mybalitrips sign.
Depending on your arrival time, you can will be asked to leave your bags at the Manta Dive Gili Trawangan Resort or at the officethe port office. Then a boat will take you on your private snorkeling trip.
During snorkeling you can buy an underwater shooting on GoPro (additional payment on the spot is about 200K)

Snorkeling takes place at three spots: spot "nest" - underwater statues; a spot with turtles near Gili Meno and a "fish garden" spot near Gili Air.
After snorkeling (around 14:00 - 15:00 pm) you will have lunch on Gili Air (lunch is not included in the price). The organized part of the trip is finished and you can plan the rest of your time on the island or just relax at the hotel.
Horse riding and ocean fishing are available for an additional fee. It is necessary to book the services from managers.

The next day, we recommend waking up early to see the sunrise and have breakfast at the hotel. Manta Dive Gili Trawangan Resort must be vacated by 10:00 am.

Road back

To check-in from Gili Trawangan to Bali, you need to come to the Ostina office 60 minutes before the boat departure time and show your ticket. The boat leaves at 12:00 p.m.

On the way back, boat delays are quite common, so for your comfort we recommend bringing hats and it is better to look for shade so that waiting in the heat does not tire you.

Upon arrival at the port of Padang Bay, you need to go to the ticket office of the boat company (where you checked in for the Gili flight) and the boat company staff will tell you how to find a group transfer to your area. The transfer will take you to your hotel, villa or meeting point.

Attention

• at the entrance to the pier before boarding the boat to Gili islands, a government tax of 10 000 rupees per required to be paid;
• the return transfer is more complicated regarding organization and can take about 4-5 hours. Travel time depends on traffic, boat delays, and the distance to your hotel. Please be patient;
• Ostina company does not guarantee a return transfer to your hotel, only to the central point of the area;
• in case of bad weather in the Lombok Strait, in the interest of security, the boat company reserves the right to transfer you to the ferry cruising between Gili Island and Bali.
