Imagine standing on the edge of an active volcano as the first light breaks over Bali. Below you — a vast lake still wrapped in darkness, the caldera stretching out like something from another planet. Then the sun hits. Everything turns gold.
You got here in the dark, headlamp on, climbing while the rest of the island slept. And now you're up here with a hot coffee in your hands, watching the sky do things no screen could ever capture.
That feeling — the cool air, the quiet, the "I actually did this" — it stays with you long after you come back down.
And when you do come down, there's one more thing waiting: natural hot springs tucked into the mountains, steam rising off the water, your muscles slowly letting go of the climb.
This isn't a tour you tick off a list. It's the morning you keep telling people about.
Meeting with the guide before the hike
03:00 — you need to arrive at the base of the service provider. Here, you’ll meet other participants and your guide, who will give a short briefing and provide flashlights. You’ll be offered a light breakfast — a banana pancake, tea, and coffee. After breakfast, a vehicle from the service provider will take you to the starting point where the hike begins.
Trekking Mount Batur
04:00 — the ascent to Mount Batur begins. To make the 1717-meter climb more comfortable, several rest stops are planned along the way. You’ll reach the summit at sunrise, where you’ll be greeted with a stunning view of the caldera and the mist-covered mountain lake. A light snack and water will be provided at the top. You’ll have plenty of time to enjoy the sunrise and take beautiful photos before returning to the starting point. From there, a vehicle from driver will take you back to the base.
According to clause 7.3.3 of the User Agreement, "MyBaliTrips" is not responsible for weather conditions on the dates you have booked your tour.
