Morning Transfer to Mount Batur
At the scheduled time, a driver from the «Pineh Trekking» company will arrive at your hotel or villa. Please wait at the hotel reception or at the entrance to your villa. Once all participants are gathered, the transfer will head to the base at the foot of Mount Batur. There, you’ll meet the rest of the group and your guide, who will give a short briefing and hand out flashlights. You’ll be offered breakfast: banana pancakes, tea, and coffee. After that, the vehicle will take you to the starting point of the trek. Depending on the traffic at the entrance, the driver will either drop you off directly at the starting point or about 15–20 minutes away on foot.
Climbing Mount Batur
The ascent begins around 4:00 a.m. To make the 1,717-meter climb more comfortable, there will be several rest stops along the way. You’ll reach the summit by sunrise, where a breathtaking view of the caldera and mountain lake, often covered in morning mist, will unfold before you. You’ll be offered a light snack and bottled water at the top. There will be enough time to enjoy the sunrise and take beautiful photos. After that, you’ll head back down to the starting point. The driver will be waiting at the parking area.
Return Transfer
When everyone is back, the transfer will take you to your hotel or villa. Travel time depends on traffic and the location of your accommodation.
