What To Expect
Day 1: Arrival and Madakaripura Waterfall
- 09:00-10:00 Meet our team at Surabaya Airport. Travel to Madakaripura Waterfall (2-hour car ride, 45-minute motorcycle taxi, and 2 km walk). Enjoy free time to explore and take photos of the stunning waterfall. Swimming is not allowed.
- 13:30-15:00 Head to your hotel in the village of Cemoro Lawang. After check-in, enjoy free time. Optional: Visit the Penanjakan observation deck for a beautiful sunset view.
Day 2: Sunrise at Bromo and Bromo Volcano Crater
- 03:00 Depart the hotel in a 4x4 jeep for an unforgettable sunrise at Bromo.
- 04:00 Arrive at the Penanjakan observation deck on Mount Penanjakan. Watch the breathtaking sunrise over Bromo.
- 06:00 Drive through the "Sea of Sand" to the active volcano. Climb 240 steps to reach the crater and marvel at the Martian landscape. Return to the hotel for breakfast, packing, and rest.
- 10:00 Depart for Tumpak Sewu Hotel (5-hour drive).
Day 3: Tumpak Sewu Waterfall and Return to Surabaya
- 04:00 Depart for Tumpak Sewu Waterfall (2-hour drive). Explore the waterfall from the observation deck and enjoy free time for photos.
- 11:00 Return to the hotel for breakfast and relaxation.
- 15:00 Arrive back at Surabaya Airport.
Important Information
Bromo Volcano Activity: Due to volcanic activity, access to the crater may be limited to 1 km or the lower part of the stairs. The guide will make the final decision on-site.

Clothing: Temperatures at the top of Bromo can drop to +7 to +3 degrees Celsius. Bring warm clothing, such as jackets, hats, warm pants, sweaters, multiple T-shirts, socks, and comfortable shoes.
Equipment Return: After climbing Ijen volcano, return the mask and flashlight to the guide. A fine of 50,000 Indonesian rupiahs per item will be charged for any lost, damaged, or non-returned equipment.
