What to expect

Transfer

A driver from "Bali Happy" will pick you up from your hotel or villa. Please wait at the hotel reception or villa entrance for the transfer.

02:30 AM: Meet your guide at Indomaret Windu Sara for a quick briefing and pick up your flashlights. Then, drive with your guide to the trekking starting point in Trunyan village. The drive takes approximately 30 minutes.

03:00 AM: Begin your trek to Trunyan Hill. Enjoy a scenic journey through misty Lake Batur, lush jungles, and rolling hills.

06:00 AM: Reach the summit and marvel at the sunrise with stunning views of Trunyan village, Mount Abang, Lake Batur, and Mount Batur. On a clear day, you can also spot Mount Rinjani and Mount Agung. Light snacks and water will be provided. You'll have plenty of time to enjoy the sunrise and capture beautiful photos.

09:00 AM: Return to the starting point where you'll meet your driver.

09:30 AM: Enjoy a delightful breakfast at the view point cafe.

Return Transfer

Your driver will be waiting at the parking area. Once everyone is gathered, you'll be transferred back to your hotel or villa. Travel time may vary based on traffic and your destination.

we are not responsible for weather conditions on your trek date. Weather in the Batur caldera is unpredictable, and fog, rain, and low visibility are possible, especially during the rainy season.

This tour was an unforgettable experience! Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and navigating the trek to Trunyan Hill under the starry sky was just magical. Reaching the summit just in time for the sunrise was worth every step. It was an amazing adventure! The driver from 'Bali Happy' arrived on time and took us to the starting point in the village of Trunyan. The hike itself was incredible—through jungles and the mist-covered Lake Batur, and at the summit, we were greeted with stunning views of the sunrise and the mountains. The entire journey went splendidly, and we didn't rush but savored every moment. Breakfast in a cafe with views was a pleasant conclusion to the tour. Of course, it’s worth considering that the weather can be unpredictable, but our day was perfect.
