What To Expect

For a smooth start to your journey, make sure to arrive at Semabu Hills boat departure point 45 minutes before the scheduled departure time, which is at 07:30 in the morning. Find the Semabu Hills office, and register there. Keep your ticket safe, as it will be required for your return to Bali.

On the island 

The boat journey to Nusa Penida lasts about 40 minutes. Upon reaching the island's port, a driver will be there to greet you. Then you will go on a trip to the east of Nusa Penida. This tour includes visiting of all memorable places: Kelengkeng Beach, Broken Beach, Angel Billabong, and Crystal Bay.
Along the way, you'll have lunch at a local cafe (warung) serving Indonesian cuisine. Please note that lunch is not included in the tour price and should be paid for locally.

After lunch the driver will take you to the boat for a snorkeling adventure. Typically, a snorkeling program covers 3 spots: Manta Bay, Gamat Bay, SD Point/Turtles Point. The duration of snorkeling is 2 hours.
The guide on the boat is responsible for your safety. After snorkeling, you can shower and change clothes.

At the end of the tour, the transfer will take you back to the port. The Semabu Hills boat departs from Nusa Penida Island at 17:00.

Please note

• Group transfer is possible from the areas: Sanur, Denpasar , Kuta , Legian, Seminyak, Ubud Central, Jimbaran (McDonald's); Nusa Dua ITDC;
• Due to time constraints on this tour, you'll have a limited visit to the Kelingking Beach viewpoint (without going down to the beach);
• Upon arrival at Nusa Penida Island, a government tax of 25,000 rupees per person must be paid;
• Lunch and dinner at hotels, restaurants, or warungs are not included in this program and should be paid for separately;
• Indonesian drivers may not always speak English, so don't hesitate to ask your driver for directions to the entrance of attractions;
• Breakfast is not included in this program, so it's recommended to have breakfast from your hotel before starting the tour;
• On the return journey, due to high tide on the island of Nusa Penida, it may be necessary to board the boat from shallow water. It's advisable to have coral slippers for a comfortable disembarkation from the boat;
• MyBaliTrips.com is not responsible for snorkeling with manta rays (as per clause 7.3 of the user agreement);
• In case of big waves at the Manta Bay snorkeling spot on the day of your trip, the company organizing the snorkeling may replace this spot with Crystal Bay or another location;
• The tour program is packed, so you'll have no more than 20-30 minutes at each point. Additionally, due to potential traffic congestion, you may not always have time to visit all the planned tour stops. If you prefer to spend more time exploring Nusa Penida's natural attractions, it's recommended to choose only the West or East part of the island.
