07:20-7:45 am arrival at Yogyakarta International Airport (YIA) and meeting with the guide;

Full description
Morning transfer
Early in the morning around 08:00 am, the English-speaking guide of Java Tours company will meet you at Yogyakarta Airport.
Main program
From the airport you will go to the Prambanan Temple complex. You will get acquainted with its history, walk through the territory, visit individual temples, including the main one – Shiva, where there are many bas-reliefs with images of deities and animals, as well as get acquainted with the life of the Javanese of the IX century.
Then you will visit the Sultan Kraton Palace. This is a whole complex, on the territory of which there are squares, streets, a mosque, shops and shops, a music and dance pavilion, an armory, stables, as well as a palace museum. Take photos of the decorated front gate and the ancient platform, walk through the interior of the temple and local streets and shops.
After that you will go to Borobudur Temple. Have lunch on the spot in one of the restaurants. After that, you will have a tour of the ancient temple. You will go through all its levels and consider the unique architecture. The bas-reliefs placed on the walls tell about the history of Buddhism. On the upper platform there are 72 small stupas in the shape of a bell and one main one – the central one. In each of these stupas there are special diamond-shaped holes through which you can see the Buddha statues hidden inside. According to legend, the one who touches the fingers of the figure is waiting for happiness and luck. Admire the surrounding natural scenery, and take gorgeous photos of the temple against the backdrop of a tropical forest and mountains.
Hotel transfer
In the evening around 17:00 - 18:00, when you finish visiting the temple, the transfer will take you to the Jambuluwuk Hotel, where you will check into a spacious bright room with a European interior. The hotel has a large swimming pool and a spa where you can relax after a busy day.
Day 2
In the morning after breakfast you will have free time to swim in the pool or visit the gym at the hotel. Check-out time is 12:00. The driver will be waiting for you at the hotel to take you to the airport.
Important note
- During the ticketing process, please pay attention to the airport of arrival: You need to fly to Yogyakarta Airport (YIA) - Yogyakarta International Airport, not Jakarta. The recommended arrival time is from 7:00 to 8:00, the recommended departure time is after 13:00.
