What To Expect
Day 1
A driver will arrive at your hotel or villa by the appointed time. You need to wait for the car at the hotel reception or at the entrance to the villa.
10:30 - rice terraces in Alas Harum Bali Park. Here you can enjoy the picturesque views of the terraces and arrange an amazing photo shoot. On the territory there is a landscaped park, wooden nests and hearts for photos, suspension bridges, swings, a zipline and a cafe with coffee tasting sets.
14:00 - check-in at a stylish hotel with a minimalist European interior Oculus Bali. The hotel is located in a view point, which offers a stunning landscape of the volcano and Lake Batur.
16:30 - you will go to the “village of the dead” Trunyan. You can get to it by boat. Here you will visit the burial sites of the local Balinese people and plunge into the mystical atmosphere of Balinese legends. Bali Aga were the first inhabitants of the island and to this day differ from other Balinese. Thanks to their closeness, they managed to preserve their unique culture, traditions and even language.
19:00 - after a busy day, you will have dinner at the Caldera Hotel & Restaurant (dinner is not included in the tour price). We recommend going to bed early, because you will have an early rise before climbing the volcano.
Day 2
03:30 - departure from the hotel to the starting point of the ascent. The ascent will begin around 4 am. Several rest stops are planned along the way. You will meet the dawn at an altitude of 1717 meters – there is an amazing view of the lake in the caldera of the volcano and its surroundings. A light breakfast awaits you at the top, after which you will go down.
11:00 - after climbing, you can relax in the hot springs of Batur Natural Hot Spring. The complex has several pools of different temperatures, as well as water slides, a shower and a restaurant.
13:00 is the time to return home. The time of arrival at the hotel depends on traffic jams and the distance of your hotel.
Important information:
in accordance with clause 7.3.3 of the user agreement, the company MyBaliTrips.com is not responsible for the weather conditions on the dates for which you have booked the tour. The weather in the caldera of the Batur volcano is unpredictable. Fog, rain, low visibility are possible during the ascent. There is a particularly high probability of such weather conditions in the rainy season.
Cancellation Policy
- A full refund is made if the cancellation is made at least 24 hours before the start of the tour, otherwise a fine of 50% of the tour price will be charged;
- The refund is made in IDR, or at the currency conversion rate set by the banks of Indonesia and the Recipient's bank on the day of payment;
- Cancellation of the tour due to weather conditions is accepted on the basis of official information about weather conditions that prevent the safe conduct of the event. The trip organizers have experience and knowledge about the weather conditions on the route of the trip. No trip, for security reasons, will be allowed if there is a ban on its implementation;
- A subjective assessment of weather conditions on the part of the participants of the trip cannot be the basis for a decision to implement or cancel the trip;
- There is no refund in case of cancellation of the tour due to weather conditions. The tour may be rescheduled for another date;
- A full refund is made if the contractor (provider) is unable to provide the service in full;
- The deadline for consideration of a refund is up to 5 working days from the date of the request;
- The refund period is up to 14 working days from the date of the request
