This 8-day Bali itinerary is designed for travelers who want to see the island’s key highlights in a short time — temples, waterfalls, rice terraces, and the ocean. The route includes time in Ubud, known for its jungle landscapes and cultural scene, visits to royal palaces and the eastern part of the island, and several days by the sea in Nusa Dua. Transfers, hotels, and a guide are included, so you can focus on the experience rather than logistics.
The first days are based in Ubud, a small town in the center of the island, surrounded by rice terraces, forest, and waterfalls. During this part of the trip, you’ll visit temples and former royal sites, walk through rice fields, and head out to waterfalls hidden deep in the jungle. The air is cooler near the water, and the constant sound of falling streams creates a distinct sense of place.
The second part of the journey unfolds by the ocean. Wide beaches with an easy entry into the water, steady waves, and warm sand underfoot set the pace. You can spend your time between the beach, coastal walks, and short trips around the southern peninsula, including a clifftop temple and evening performances at sunset.
Your journey begins with a personal airport pickup. From there, you leave the busy arrival area behind and head towards Ubud — Bali’s cultural heart.
You’ll be staying at Ayung Resort Ubud, set above the Ayung River, the island’s main waterway. There’s no city noise here — only the sounds of the rainforest and the river below. On arrival, you’ll be welcomed with a refreshing drink and seasonal fruit before settling into your Deluxe room.
The evening is yours to ease into the island’s rhythm. After a long flight, there’s nothing better than relaxing in the infinity pool overlooking the canyon. Watch the sunset from the water and let the atmosphere of the jungle set the tone for the days ahead.

After breakfast, your private transfer will take you to the center of Ubud. This is where Balinese culture comes alive in everyday details — from ceremonial processions and vibrant traditional outfits to women gracefully carrying offering baskets on their heads.
How to spend your day:
browse the colorful local markets and artisan streets, where you’ll find unique handmade décor and jewelry;
settle into a cozy café and watch the rhythm of daily life unfold;
soak in the atmosphere of a place that draws people from around the world in search of inspiration and spiritual practices;
wander along scenic walking paths through lush rice terraces;
visit some of Ubud’s renowned museums — galleries like Blanco Renaissance Museum and Puri Lukisan Museumoffer a deeper look into Bali’s art, history, and refined aesthetic.
In the evening, take it slow and get some rest. Tomorrow marks the start of a more active part of your journey — a tour through Bali’s royal palaces awaits.

Day three is dedicated to exploring Bali’s royal heritage and spiritual traditions, accompanied by a guide. Your journey begins at one of the island’s most iconic “temples in the clouds,” where sweeping views open up over a majestic volcano. From there, continue to elegant water palaces, where European classical elements blend seamlessly with traditional Balinese design.
After a full day of temples and palaces, you’ll unwind at a secluded white-sand beach with clear turquoise water. It’s the perfect place for a swim and a moment of quiet relaxation.
In the evening, return to your hotel and enjoy the calm — whether it’s dinner at a scenic restaurant or a peaceful moment by the pool.

A spontaneous outing

Day five is all about Bali’s natural beauty and your transition to the southern coast. The morning begins with visits to three of the most scenic waterfalls near Ubud. Hidden in lush canyons, these multi-tiered cascades, cool natural pools, and powerful streams offer a refreshing connection with nature.
The journey continues through the famous rice terraces — the perfect setting for photos surrounded by endless shades of green.
In the evening, you’ll be transferred to Nusa Dua, Bali’s premier coastal resort area. Please make sure to bring all your luggage, as the next part of your stay will be at a beachfront hotel. After a full day of exploring, unwind with a walk along the shore or a quiet dinner accompanied by the ocean breeze.

Day nine is all about unwinding in Nusa Dua, one of Bali’s most refined resort areas. The coastline here is known for its wide sandy beaches and gentle entry into the water, which stays clear and calm even close to shore.
Everything you need is close by, so you can enjoy the day without long drives. Within walking distance of your hotel, you’ll find Bali Collection — an open-air shopping and dining area with boutiques, cafés, and restaurants. There’s also a well-maintained park nearby, perfect for an easy прогулка among tropical greenery.
Along the coast, several surf spots offer beginner-friendly conditions. If you’d like to book a lesson, simply reach out to our team — we’ll take care of the arrangements.

Today is your last full day in Bali — a time to slow down and enjoy the island at your own pace. You’ll have access to yoga spaces, a gym, and a sauna.
If you feel like exploring a bit more, we can arrange a private transfer around the Bukit Peninsula. This southern tip of the island is known for its dramatic landscapes and diverse beaches — from hidden coves to long stretches of soft sand.
One of the highlights of the area is Uluwatu Temple, set on the edge of a 70-meter cliff overlooking the ocean. It’s also home to Bali’s famous monkeys, often seen around the temple grounds.
Our team will be happy to arrange tickets for optional experiences — including the traditional Kecak Dance, performed at sunset against the dramatic backdrop of the cliffs at Uluwatu.
