Nusa Lembongan

Nusa Lembongan

Nusa Lembongan — a small island off the southeastern coast of Bali, known for its crystal-clear waters, white sandy beaches, and relaxed atmosphere. It is an ideal destination for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of touristy Bali and enjoy nature in a calmer, more authentic setting.
The island is part of the "Nusa" trio, along with Nusa Penida and Nusa Ceningan, and can be easily reached by speedboat from Sanur port (just 30–40 minutes). Despite its proximity to Bali, Lembongan offers a completely different pace of life: there are almost no cars here; transportation is mainly by scooters, bicycles, or on foot.
Main attractions include:

  • Dream Beach and Mushroom Bay — beautiful beaches with soft sand and turquoise waters suitable for swimming and relaxing.

  • Snorkeling and diving — the coastal waters are home to coral reefs and marine life, including manta rays, turtles, and colorful fish.

  • Yellow Bridge — a pedestrian bridge connecting Nusa Lembongan with the neighboring island of Nusa Ceningan.

  • Mangrove Forest — mangroves in the northeast of the island that can be explored by boat or kayak.

  • Devil’s Tear — a rocky cape where powerful waves crash against rocks, creating water fountains and rainbows in the spray.

Nusa Lembongan is not only about beach relaxation but also a place for active adventures, contemplation, and recharging. There are no large hotels or noisy clubs; instead, cozy bungalows, oceanfront cafes, and a sense that time slows down a little.
