Tour to Komodo on the GAN Boat

Komodo
Beyond Bali
Snorkeling

The Komodo Archipelago is one of Indonesia’s most famous and spectacular destinations. It is home to the iconic viewpoint of Padar Island, the famous Pink Beach, giant manta rays, and the world’s only wild population of Komodo dragons. Many travelers dream of visiting these islands for years, but a single day is rarely enough to experience everything the region has to offer.

Spending three days on board allows you to discover Komodo at a more relaxed pace. You will have time to watch the sunrise over the islands, hike to some of the archipelago’s most breathtaking viewpoints, and spend your evenings on deck as the sun disappears beyond the horizon.

The journey includes the locations that have become symbols of Indonesia: Padar Island, Pink Beach, Taka Makassar, Manta Point, and Komodo National Park. Yet some of the most memorable moments happen between the destinations themselves. Scenic island crossings, the flying foxes of Kalong Island, and sunrises and sunsets at sea become highlights of the journey in their own right.

If you have already traveled thousands of miles to reach Indonesia, Komodo is worth more than a quick visit. Some places deserve a few extra days to be experienced properly.

  • depending on weather conditions, the tour program may be subject to changes at the captain's discretion. The alternative program will be of equal cost and interest.

  • due to current visitor limits at Komodo National Park, we recommend purchasing your entry tickets in advance. This helps ensure access to all locations included in your tour. Without a pre-booked ticket, there is a chance that the daily visitor quota may be reached before your boat arrives. Girls, it's just a heartbreak!! Went with a friend for 3 days and still impressed. If you think Komodo is only about lizards, absolutely not! It's unreal aesthetics. One sunrise on Padar is worth it, we got up at 5 am, crawled to the top, but when we saw those three bays... tears just fell from my eyes because of the beauty!!! Special respect to the boat team, they fed us incredibly tasty, always some fruits, care at every step. In the evening we sat on the deck with wine under the stars, a complete reboot.

We went on this cruise as a group of three - me, my wife, and our 12-year-old son. Honestly, I was a bit worried at first about how the little one would handle three days on a boat, but in reality, it was amazing. There was no time to be bored at all. Our son was thrilled with the dragons on Komodo (even though they are incredibly lazy, they look powerful) and with the flying foxes at sunset - it genuinely darkened half the sky, a truly epic sight. There were no issues with the organization, we were fed to our heart's content, the cabins were clean, and the air conditioning worked properly. At Manta Point, we were lucky enough to see three huge mantas up close underwater, it was overwhelmingly exciting. In short, the family test drive was passed with flying colors, and Komodo is definitely worth the money.
