I’d wanted to start doing yoga for a long time, but between work, traveling, and simply never finding enough time, I kept putting it off. So I decided that a retreat would be a good way to finally give it a proper try, get into a routine, and understand yoga a little better beyond just taking an occasional class. I was pretty much a beginner, but that wasn’t a problem at all. The teachers were very attentive, helped me with the poses, and explained everything whenever I struggled with something. After a few days, I already felt much more confident, and now I really want to continue practicing at home. The only thing I found a little difficult to get used to was the food. I understand that it’s specially designed to fit the program and all the different practices, but sometimes I really wanted to eat more. And there were moments when I was honestly dreaming about cake, chips, or basically anything unhealthy. So that was a bit of a challenge for me. But overall, I really enjoyed the retreat, and most importantly, I finally started doing yoga and realized that I want to keep going.
