What to expect

Find the Office: At the port, locate the Maruti office (office location available on Google Maps in your personal account). After checking in for your trip, keep your ticket safe, as it will be required for your return journey.

Early Departure: The boat leaves Sanur Port at 7:30 AM for a 40-minute journey to Nusa Penida. Upon arrival, a company representative will greet you.

Gear and Safety: Once all participants are gathered, you'll head to the base where snorkeling gear, including fins, mask, and snorkel, will be provided. Secure lockers are available for your valuables.

Snorkeling Adventure: Explore three prime snorkeling spots: Manta Bay, where you might swim with magnificent manta rays; Gamat Bay; and Toyapakeh. Your guide will ensure your safety and assist you if needed.

Lunch: Enjoy a meal featuring Indonesian cuisine at the dive club's café.

Free Time or Return: After snorkeling, you can enjoy some free time on the island or return to Bali on a day boat (availability of seats needs to be confirmed).

Evening Departure: The boat to Bali departs from Nusa Penida at 4:30 PM.

Important Information:

Manta Ray Sightings: MyBaliTrips.com does not guarantee manta ray sightings (refer to Section 7.3 of the User Agreement).

Weather Adjustments: If Manta Bay conditions are unfavorable, the company may substitute this spot with Crystal Bay or another location for safety.

Return Transfer Tips: Due to possible low tides, boarding the boat on the return trip might be from shallow water. Coral shoes are recommended for comfortable boarding and disembarking.

The organization was top-notch, the guides passed us hand-in-hand, I was worried about getting lost in the port and not keeping up, but they looked after us so thoroughly and literally led us by the hand everywhere. Not even the tropical rain could spoil our tour, we managed to visit all the locations, had a delicious lunch, and were accompanied back to the boat and taken to the hotel. This is mastery at the highest level!

Excellent trip organization. The transfer driver from the hotel to the port and back was very punctual. We were met on the island, escorted to the minivan, and taken to the spot where we could change, were given flippers, and then we went to the boat. The guide was very fun and interesting, explaining everything. There were not many of us in the boat, 10 people, and there was enough space. We were given masks there; if needed, you could take a life jacket. Everyone swam with them because it is convenient, just floating on the surface of the water. We saw manta rays! We saw turtles! Lots of fish! Huge enjoyment! Later there was a sufficiently hearty lunch! And we rode through the mangrove forest. Thanks to the guide and his colleagues for watching everyone in the water, feeding the fish, and showing where to swim to see the most interesting things!

Everything was great! Especially the guide)) funny, kind, responsive, took a huge number of photos and videos. Was very helpful. The food on the island was delicious. I especially enjoyed the kayaking trip. It was great! The only thing is, I almost got lost in the port despite knowing English 😁 Good thing I wasn't alone. They would definitely have gotten lost without me because of not knowing English 😁 Even though we were supposedly met and seen off, we almost got lost anyway 😁

Everything was great! We were met on time, everything was shown and explained (in English), received movement instructions via WhatsApp, and got an instant response to any question that arose. On the island, we were greeted by a very cheerful and smiling instructor - Young Coconut, that's their nickname 😁. We saw manta rays and turtles, very picturesque coral reefs with a huge number of fish! Then there was kayaking in the mangrove forest. At the end of a busy day, the instructor took us to a viewpoint from where the entire island could be seen 👍🏻 Thank you for the experiences!
