What To Expect
DAY 1
Transfer
A driver Of Ostina transport company will pick you up at the appointed time and take you to the port of Padang Bay. It is necessary to wait for him at the entrance to the villa or at the reception of the hotel.
In the port, you need to find the office of the Ostina boat company and check in for your sailing. Save your ticket for the entire duration of the trip, because you will need it to check in for the return sailing.
09:30 – departure from the port. The journey to the island of Gili Air by speed boat will take about 2.5 hours.
Main program
Upon arrival at Gili Air Island, you will be met by a transfer (horse-drawn carriage) and representative from the Tipsea Turtle Gili Air Hotel with a sign "Mybalitrips" and taken to the hotel.
After check-in at the hotel, you will go for a 4-hour snorkeling. You will visit two coral gardens in different parts of the Gili Archipelago, where you will see a lot of colorful fish. Then visit the famous underwater statues near Gili Meno and swim with large sea turtles.
The boat will stop at Gili Meno for lunch at a local restaurant. The cost of lunch is not included in the price of the tour.
In the evening you will have free time to walk around the island. The peculiarity of Gili Air is that it is a small island without traffic and a large number of people. Here you can enjoy the peace and quiet of real island life.
DAY 2
We recommend waking up early to meet the dawn and have breakfast at the hotel.
At 11:30 you need to check in for the return sailing at the Ostina office. On the way back, boat delays are not uncommon, therefore, in order to make waiting on the beach comfortable, it is better to have hats and water with you.
Upon arrival at the port of Padang Bay, you need to go to the ticket office of the boat company, where they will tell you how to find a group transfer to your area. The arrival time depends on the distance and the situation on the roads.
Important information:
- the snorkling program may change at the discretion of the boat captain depending on weather conditions;
- Harbor tax is applicable for passengers departing from Padangbai (10.000 idr per person) and Gili Islands (20.000 idr per person). A charge of 10.000 idr per person has to be paid upon arrival at Gili. Taxes are not included in the ticket price;
- the return transfer is more complicated in terms of organization and can take about 4-5 hours. Travel time depends on traffic on the roads, boat delays and the remoteness of your hotel;
- Ostina does not guarantee a return transfer to the hotel, only to the central point of the district;
- in case of bad weather in the Lombok Strait, for safety reasons, the boat company has the right to transfer you to a ferry for crossing from the Gili Islands to Bali or from Bali to Gili
Cancellation Policy
- The refund for the service is made in full if the cancellation is made by the client more than 7 days before the start of the tour.
- A refund for the service is made with a deduction of 50% of the payment amount if the cancellation is made by the client at least 24 hours before the start of the event.
- In case of cancellation on the day of the event, the payment will not be refunded.
- Refunds are made at the exchange rate set by the Bank of Indonesia on the day of payment.
- A full refund is made if the contractor (provider) is unable to provide the service in full.
- The deadline for consideration of a refund is up to 5 calendar days from the date of application.
- The refund period is up to 14 calendar days from the date of application.
- The decision to cancel the tour due to weather conditions is made on the basis of official information about weather conditions that prevent the safe conduct of the event. The service provider has experience and knowledge about the weather conditions on the route of the trip. A subjective assessment of weather conditions by the participants of the trip cannot be the basis for a decision on the implementation or cancellation of the trip.
- There is no refund in case of cancellation of the tour due to weather conditions. The tour may be postponed to another date.
