Temple Pura Lempuyang

Local Balinese legends circulate about this place. One of the oldest temples in Bali, located in the east of the island on the slope of the sacred mountain Lempuyang. The main attraction is the 'Gates to Heaven,' through which a view of Mount Agung opens up. This place has become iconic among tourists due to impressive photographs, but the temple itself remains an important religious shrine where Balinese gather for prayers.
