What to expect

Getting there: Arrive at the port 60 minutes before your boat departure time. At the port, locate the Eka Jaya office and check in for your trip (the office location on Google Maps will be provided in your account). Please keep your paper ticket in a safe place, as you'll need it for your return journey.

The trip to Lombok Island will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Return trip: To check in for your return trip from Lombok Island to Bali, please visit the Eka Jaya office 60 minutes before your boat's departure time and present your ticket (the office location will be indicated on Google Maps in your account).

Due to weather conditions in the Lombok Strait, for safety reasons, the boat company reserves the right to transfer you to a ferry for the crossing from Lombok to Bali or from Lombok to the Gili Islands.

Transporting animals on speed boats to Lombok Island is prohibited by Indonesian law.

I liked the organization and the journey itself on the ship. The Russian-speaking manager was always in touch. Since I didn't have a Visa card, I was offered to pay in cash at a convenience store. After paying at the store's checkout, the payment information instantly appeared in the system, and an electronic ticket was issued. At the registration in the port, the transport company's office handed out raincoats for free as it was raining. The ship itself is large, comfortable, clean, and modern. They sell drinks and beer on board. You can smoke in the open air on the upper deck. Overall, it's incomparable to the small boats of other carriers. I recommend it. You shouldn't save on comfort.

We booked a transfer from Lombok island to Bali. Everything was wonderful. The Eka Jaya company office helped our taxi driver find us (the office is small). We were quickly registered there (it is preferable to have paper tickets). We waited for boarding in the same place, not long, in a cool room, for about 15 minutes. The passengers were only Europeans. An attendant took us to the boat. We left 15-30 minutes earlier. Arrived quickly, in 1.5 hours. The sea was quite choppy. It's more comfortable to sit inside at first, but due to the motion, it's better to sit on the upper deck (although it's windy and the sun is strong there).
