A driver will be waiting for you at the airport. In a comfortable air-conditioned car you will travel to the very heart of Bali — the town of Ubud — where you will check in at the elegant Best Western Premier Agung Resort Ubud.

The friendly staff will greet you with welcome drinks and a selection of seasonal fruit, then show you to your Deluxe Room overlooking the garden. The resort sits secluded in a quiet area just a short distance from central Ubud, surrounded by tropical jungle.

After a delicious breakfast at the restaurant, head into Ubud using the resort's convenient shuttle. Ubud is considered the cultural and spiritual capital of the island, drawing visitors from all over the world who are interested in spiritual practices and wellness. Here you will see Balinese people in traditional dress, ceremonial processions and women carrying baskets of fruit on their heads. Visit the local market or stroll along the artisans' street, where you can pick up unique handmade pieces as a keepsake.

Today is entirely yours to shape as you wish. Wander through Ubud and its surroundings, explore the rice fields by bicycle, drop into cosy cafés and small craft workshops, or simply relax and enjoy spa treatments at the resort.

If you are after something more active, you can add white-water rafting on a mountain river, an ATV ride through the jungle or other adventures. Optional activities are paid separately — our team will be happy to check availability for you.

A full and rewarding day awaits! In the morning you set off on a tour to the Kintamani region, home to the ancient volcanoes the Balinese hold sacred. The journey also includes a visit to a canyon hidden deep in the jungle: long ago an ancient river carved out a winding stone corridor, and you will walk through this gorge accompanied by an experienced guide. Rounding out the day are the breathtaking Tegallalang rice terraces and the Tegenungan waterfall.

Don't forget to bring your luggage — that same evening you transfer to a resort on Bali's southern coast, in the upscale district of Nusa Dua.

After a day full of impressions and travel, take a stroll along the beach to the sound of the surf.

Devote this day to the beach and pure relaxation — your resort sits right on the coast beside some of Bali's finest sandy shores. In the evening we recommend immersing yourself in Balinese culture: on a clifftop above the ocean, in the glow of the setting sun, you can watch the famous Kecak fire dance, a costumed performance that retells a story from local folklore. This experience is paid separately; your manager can confirm availability.

Today is your last full day in Bali. Start it by looking after yourself with a morning yoga session or a spa treatment at the resort's wellness centre.

You might browse the local shops and pick up a few more souvenirs from the Island of the Gods. Then head to the beach in the evening to catch a magnificent sunset over the Indian Ocean.
