Tibumana Waterfall

Tibumana Waterfall

Tibumana Waterfall — a hidden gem in central Bali, located near Ubud in the Bangli region. Unlike the more famous and crowded waterfalls on the island, Tibumana offers a peaceful atmosphere, tranquility, and close proximity to nature — an ideal place for those seeking solitude and relaxation.
The waterfall features a gentle stream of water cascading from a steep cliff into a small emerald lagoon, surrounded by dense jungle and tall trees. The height of the waterfall is relatively modest — about 15 meters — but its neat shape and picturesque surroundings make Tibumana especially photogenic.
The trail to the waterfall passes through rice fields and tropical foliage. The descent takes only about 10–15 minutes via well-maintained steps, making it accessible even for inexperienced travelers. Swimming in the lagoon is permitted, and the water here is cool and refreshing — especially pleasant on hot days.
Tibumana is often used for meditation and spiritual practices due to its quiet atmosphere. It’s a place where you can escape the hustle, hear the sounds of nature, and enjoy simple yet profound moments of connection with the surrounding world.
