Pura Luhur Uluwatu Temple

An ancient temple built on the edge of a cliff at a height of 70 meters, seemingly hovering above the ocean. Pura Luhur Uluwatu is considered one of Bali’s nine sacred temples, protecting the island from evil spirits. Its impressive location makes it one of the most beautiful and significant sites in Bali. The temple is guarded by hundreds of monkeys, who, according to local beliefs, also protect the sacred site from evil spirits. Every evening at sunset, a traditional Balinese dance performance called Kecak is held here. Visiting Pura Luhur Uluwatu is not just a sightseeing tour but an immersion into the world of ancient Balinese customs and religious rituals.
