About Kintamani:

We will take you to the peaceful Kintamani area of the island in northeastern Bali. The chilly climate in the mountainous area of Kintamani is much cooler than its southern part. Be amazed by the beautiful scenery of Mount Batur volcano and Bali’s largest lake Batur. The locals consider this lake mystical. The Kintamani region consists of several villages at the foot of the volcano and simply fascinates with its special atmosphere and peacefulness of the locals.

Watching the sunrise from the top of the active volcano Batur is one of the must-do activities for visitors to the Island of the Gods.

You will have to climb to an altitude of 1,717 meters to meet the sunrise in a misty haze with a dramatic view of the island. Breathtaking photos and this unforgettable experience are worth the two hours of trekking. Batur is an active volcano and is the second largest on the island. Locals believe that climbing the volcano helps to purify and even re-energize their lives.

After the ascent, relax and recover in the hot springs at the base of the volcano.

How it goes:
