Komodo Boat Tour on Panrita

Komodo

The Komodo archipelago is one of those destinations that reveals its true beauty when explored from the water. Over three unforgettable days, you will discover the region’s most iconic locations: Padar Island with its legendary panoramic viewpoint, the famous Pink Beach, Komodo Island — home to the prehistoric Komodo dragons — as well as Taka Makassar, Manta Point, and secluded tropical bays scattered throughout the national park.

This journey takes place aboard a beautiful sailing yacht designed for comfortable sea expeditions. Its elegant white hull, classic sails, spacious open decks, and cozy lounge areas create the atmosphere of a true ocean adventure. The yacht accommodates only a limited number of guests, allowing for a more peaceful and intimate experience on board. Between destinations, you can relax on deck, enjoy uninterrupted ocean views, dine surrounded by the islands, and fully disconnect from the busy rhythm of everyday life.

During these three days, Komodo reveals many different sides of its beauty. Mornings begin with scenic treks to spectacular viewpoints as the first sunlight illuminates the dramatic island landscapes. Throughout the day, you will snorkel above colorful coral reefs, relax on pink sand beaches, and, with favorable conditions, swim alongside giant manta rays in their natural habitat. Evenings bring unforgettable sunsets, the famous flight of thousands of flying foxes above Kalong Island, and peaceful nights spent anchored among the islands of the archipelago. This journey is not simply about visiting famous locations — it is a true sea expedition where the experience of the voyage becomes just as memorable as the destinations themselves.

3-Day Komodo Cruise: Padar, Pink Beach, Manta Point & Island Hopping

Day 1 — Meeting and first islands of the archipelago

06:00 — In the morning, your driver will meet you at the airport or pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to the departure port. Ahead of you are several days of exploring one of Indonesia’s most spectacular island regions.

11:00 — After boarding the boat and beginning the journey, lunch will be served on board while you enjoy your first views of the islands scattered throughout Komodo National Park.

After lunch, the first stop will be made at Kelor Island. Here, you will take a short trek up to a viewpoint overlooking the surrounding islands, turquoise water, and the rolling hills that have become one of the region’s signature landscapes.

The journey then continues to Manjarite, one of the archipelago’s well-known snorkeling spots. The area is famous for its calm, clear water, colorful coral reefs, and abundant tropical marine life visible even close to the surface.

Later in the afternoon, the boat heads toward Kalong Island. This island is known for one of the most famous natural spectacles of the region: every evening at sunset, thousands of flying foxes leave the mangrove forests and fill the sky above the island.

After the day’s activities, dinner will be served on board, followed by free time and your first overnight stay surrounded by the islands of the Komodo archipelago.

Day 2 — Padar Island, Komodo Dragons, and Snorkeling with Manta Rays

05:00 — The day begins early with a wake-up call, allowing you to experience some of the archipelago’s most spectacular locations in the soft morning light, when the islands are especially beautiful and the ocean remains calm and peaceful.

06:00 — Breakfast will be served with stunning views of Padar Island — one of the most iconic places within Komodo National Park.

07:00 — After breakfast, you will begin a trek on Padar Island. The trail leads to the island’s famous viewpoint, offering panoramic views over several bays with beaches of different colors and the dramatic hills that have become one of the symbols of the region.

The next stop will be Long Pink Beach. Here, you will have the opportunity to snorkel at one of the archipelago’s most famous beaches, known for its unusual pink sand and exceptionally clear water.

12:00 — After an active morning, lunch will be served on board while the boat continues toward the next destination.

The journey then continues to Komodo Island — home to the world-famous Komodo dragons. During a guided walk accompanied by a park ranger, you will observe the largest lizards on Earth and learn more about the island’s unique ecosystem.

15:00 — In the afternoon, you will visit two of the region’s best marine locations: Taka Makassar and Manta Point. Here, you can snorkel above coral reefs and, with favorable conditions, swim alongside giant manta rays in their natural habitat.

19:00 — In the evening, dinner will be served on board, after which the boat will begin sailing toward Kanawa Island.

The day ends with another beautiful sunset among the islands of the Komodo archipelago — one of the unforgettable highlights of this sea journey.

Day 3 — Morning at Kanawa Island and Return to Labuan Bajo

07:00 — The morning begins with breakfast on board, surrounded by the calm waters of the Komodo archipelago. This is a perfect opportunity to enjoy the final hours of the journey and take in the peaceful atmosphere of island life within the national park one last time.

After breakfast, the boat will make a stop at Kanawa Island — one of the region’s most picturesque islands. Here, you will enjoy a final snorkeling session in clear turquoise water above colorful coral reefs inhabited by tropical fish, allowing you to end the marine part of the journey in a relaxed and memorable way.

11:00 — After some time to relax and returning back on board, the journey back to Labuan Bajo begins. Upon arrival at the port, the program comes to an end, concluding your expedition through one of Indonesia’s most spectacular island regions and leaving you with unforgettable memories of the Komodo archipelago.

Important information:

  • depending on weather conditions, the tour program may be subject to changes at the captain's discretion. The alternative program will be of equal cost and interest.

  • due to current visitor limits at Komodo National Park, we recommend purchasing your entry tickets in advance. This helps ensure access to all locations included in your tour.
Without a pre-booked ticket, there is a chance that the daily visitor quota may be reached before your boat arrives. In this case, park regulations require guests to remain on board, without the option to go ashore.

Open Trip to Komodo Islands by "Panrita" boat — 3 days / 2 nights Suite Cabin

My boyfriend and I went on this trip together and honestly it turned out so special. It was our first big trip like this as a couple and I don’t think we could have chosen a more beautiful place. Komodo is just unreal, there were moments when we were both just sitting there quietly looking around because everything looked too beautiful to actually be real. The boat was beautiful, super cozy and the whole atmosphere felt really romantic. Watching the sunset from the deck together and seeing Padar in person are probably the moments I’ll remember for a very long time. Such an amazing experience, especially with someone you love.

Open Trip to Komodo Islands by "Panrita" boat — 3 days / 2 nights Master Cabin

I’d wanted to go to Komodo for a really long time, but kept putting it off because going alone was honestly a bit too expensive. In the end I found another girl who was also looking for someone to share the trip with, so we decided to book it together. And honestly I was not expecting it to be that beautiful. Padar completely blew my mind. I think it’s probably the most beautiful place I’ve ever seen in my life. I was just sitting up there staring at everything thinking there’s no way this place is real. The boat was also way nicer than I expected, super comfortable and really beautiful. Another big highlight for me were the manta rays. I’d swum with mantas before in Nusa Penida, but here it felt completely different. The water was much clearer, there were way more mantas and honestly they even looked bigger, maybe it was just me. Pink Beach was funny because… well, it wasn’t nearly as pink as I imagined, but still really beautiful. Taka Makassar honestly was the only spot where I expected a bit more, it’s basically just a tiny sandbank in the middle of the ocean. Although I have to admit the photos there turned out really good. Very happy I finally made it here.
