Diving in Bali
Diving in Bali is a safe and exciting adventure that will appeal to both beginners and experienced divers. Two dive spots are suitable for exploring the underwater world of the island: Blue Lagoon and Tulamben.
The waters of the Blue Lagoon are notable for marine inhabitants who amaze with their colors and diversity. Thousands of fish of various colors, moray eels, octopuses and starfish live in the local coral reef. Here you will feel an incredible unity with nature and feel like a part of the whole universe hiding in the ocean waters.
If you like sea adventures and mystical stories about sunken ships, then take a dive at the Tulamben dive spot. During the Second World War, the American 128-meter Liberty ship crashed in Tulamben Bay. Over the years, its own ecosphere has formed around the huge ship. The colorful coral reef goes to a depth of 30 meters. You will be fascinated by its beauty and the variety of living creatures and plants for which it has become a home. The seabed is sometimes covered with black sand, large pebbles, stones and pieces of frozen lava, which makes colored polyps, mollusks and fish look even more impressive.

What to expect
Morning transfer: At the scheduled time, please be at the meeting point at the Ocean League dive center.
If you have booked a morning transfer, a driver will arrive at your hotel or villa at the designated meeting time. Please wait for the vehicle at the hotel reception or near the villa entrance.
The transfer will take you to the northeast of Bali island. You will pass by rice terraces and beaches with volcanic black sand. Along the way, you'll enjoy stunning views of Mount Agung.
Diving
At the dive center, a instructor works.
The first dive lasts 35–40 minutes at a shipwreck. Afterward, you can relax at a café and share your impressions with other participants. A light snack will be offered for lunch.
After a short break, you'll dive back in with renewed energy. The second dive will also last 35–40 minutes and take place at a shipwreck.
You will return to the dive club around 4:00 PM.
Return transfer: If you have booked return transfer, you should go to the parking area of the dive-center. The driver waits for you there. Transfer takes you back to the hotel or villa. The time of arrival depends on traffic and your hotel or villa location.
Important:
you only can dive in case you don't have any serious medical problems;
after diving it's forbidden to fly airplanes or to climb in the mountains;
the Karangasema district tax is paid on the spot: for certified Rp 136,000; without a certificate Rp 150,000.

Really enjoyed it. The instructor was Ilya. A true master in diving with extensive experience. We spent an excellent day with him, like in the company of a friend. It was my first time diving, it was easy and the place was very interesting. The equipment was high-quality and new. I recommend it.

Everything was great. The transfer arrived on time. The driver texted in the evening to inform us about the arrival. We received a briefing on site and they explained everything. The instructors are really good guys. They made a video and took photos for an extra fee. The diving itself was wonderful. But listen carefully to the instructors so your ears won't hurt later. Overall, I think it's a must-try experience.
