What to expect
Morning Transfer
By the time of your meeting, a driver from the service-providing company will arrive at your hotel/villa. Please wait for the car at the reception of your hotel or near the villa. Safely, leisurely, and on time, the driver will take you to the base camp.
At the base camp, the leader will help you select your equipment, assist you in putting it on properly, and provide a detailed briefing on the upcoming route. After the preparations, you will choose your motorcycle. The instructor will perform a final check on tire pressure and fuel level. Throughout the route, you will be accompanied by the group leader — a rider who will choose the best route for the group and understand each rider's needs, as well as a sweeper — a rider who will assist in picking up a fallen motorcycle, ensure no one gets left behind, and offer helpful advice at the right moment.
Main Program
With all preparations complete, the group departs from the base camp towards the active Mount Batur volcano. Along the way, there will be regular stops for rest and to address any potential riding issues. You will receive personal advice and recommendations from the professionals. The surrounding views of Lake Batur will offer you breathtaking landscapes along the route.
The main part of the route runs over solidified black lava. This track offers you a unique opportunity to ride across the volcanic landscape of Mount Batur: vast black sand dunes that will make you feel as if you are riding on another planet. Upon returning to the camp, we will rest, have coffee, and share our emotions. As a souvenir, you will receive a video recording of your journey along the route.
Return Transfer
After resting, the driver will take you back to your hotel or villa. The exact arrival time at your hotel depends on the road situation and the distance to your accommodation.
