Tres Islas: Bali, Nusa Penida y Gili Trawangan

Upon arrival in Bali, a driver will meet you in a comfortable vehicle. They will be waiting near the exit of the international or domestic terminal, holding a sign with “MyBaliTrips.”

From the airport, you will head to Sanur and check into the four-star Puri Santrian Beach Resort & Spa. The hotel is set within tropical gardens right by the coast. The property features several swimming pools, a spa offering traditional Balinese treatments, and several restaurants.

After check-in, you will have free time to rest after your flight, take a walk around Sanur, or spend your first hours in Bali by the ocean.

Today you will have a free day to relax in Sanur. Spend it on the beach, unwind by the pool, or visit the hotel’s spa.

If you would like to add a little more activity to your day, you can optionally book white-water rafting on a mountain river or an ATV ride in the Ubud area.

You can also take a walk along the Sanur coastline. The long sandy beach is just a short walk from the hotel and is well suited for swimming. Enjoy the ocean and recharge before tomorrow’s journey to the next island.

After breakfast, check out of your hotel and meet your driver at the reception. You will travel in a comfortable vehicle to Sanur Port, where you will board a speedboat to Nusa Penida. The crossing takes about 40 minutes.

At Nusa Penida Port, a driver holding a “MyBaliTrips” sign will meet you, and your exploration of the western part of the island will begin:

• Kelingking Beach — A famous viewpoint overlooking dramatic cliffs, a wild beach, and the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean. Because of the shape of the rocky headland, this place is often nicknamed “T-Rex Beach.”

• Broken Beach — A picturesque cove surrounded by high cliffs, with a massive natural rock arch through which ocean water flows into the bay.

• Angel’s Billabong — A natural rock pool right by the ocean. Due to strong waves and sharp rocks, swimming here can be dangerous, so it is best to admire the scenery from the shore.

• Crystal Bay — A tropical beach with clear water, light-colored sand, and coral reefs, making it a pleasant place to relax by the ocean after your island tour.

Along the way, you will stop for lunch at Green Kubu, a local restaurant where you can try Indonesian cuisine. Lunch is paid separately.

After the tour, you will head to the four-star Semabu Hills Hotel, located on higher ground with panoramic views of the ocean, neighboring islands, and Mount Agung. After check-in, you will have free time to relax. You can spend the evening by the infinity pool and enjoy the scenery of Nusa Penida.

In the morning, enjoy breakfast at the hotel and some free time to relax. When you are ready, meet your driver and set out to explore the eastern side of the island.

• Diamond Beach — One of Nusa Penida’s most picturesque beaches. From the top of the cliff, you can enjoy views of white sand, turquoise water, and dramatic rock formations rising from the sea. A staircase carved into the cliffside leads down toward the beach.

• Tree House (Rumah Pohon) — A well-known photo spot perched on the edge of a cliff, offering panoramic views of the ocean and small rocky islets.

Along the way, you will stop for lunch at the local restaurant Ogix. Lunch is paid separately.

If time permits and upon request, the driver can also take you to an unusual temple located inside a large natural cave.

In the morning, enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, check out and meet your driver at the reception to head out for a snorkeling excursion off the coast of Nusa Penida.

The program typically includes 3 to 4 snorkeling spots:

• Manta Bay — One of the well-known locations near Nusa Penida for encountering giant manta rays in their natural habitat. If you are lucky, you may see these magnificent marine animals up close.

• Crystal Bay — A picturesque cove with clear water, coral reefs, and diverse marine life. Here, you can spot numerous tropical fish and occasionally sea turtles.

• Gamat Bay and Toyapakeh — Popular snorkeling sites known for their beautiful coral gardens and rich marine life. The clear waters are home to colorful tropical fish and other marine species.

The exact snorkeling spots are determined on the day of the excursion depending on weather and sea conditions.

After the snorkeling program, you will be transferred to Nusa Penida Port. At 4:30 PM, a speedboat will depart for Bali. Upon arrival, a driver will meet you and take you to Ubud, the cultural heart of the island.

There, you will check into Best Western Premier Ubud. After an eventful day, you can relax by the outdoor swimming pool surrounded by tropical greenery, visit the spa, or dine at the hotel restaurant. The rest of the evening is free.

After breakfast, meet your Russian-speaking driver-guide at the hotel reception and set out to explore central Bali.

Your first stop will be the Beji Guwang Hidden Canyon. Accompanied by a local guide, you will walk through a picturesque gorge surrounded by striking rock formations. Please note that the canyon may occasionally be closed due to high water levels; in this case, the itinerary will continue directly to the next stop.

Next, you will visit the Ubud Monkey Forest, where you can observe macaques roaming freely among the trees and temple grounds. For an additional fee, you can take a selfie with a monkey under the supervision of an attendant. As the monkeys are wild animals, it is best to leave valuables in the car.

During the journey, you will also visit one of three historic Balinese temples:

• Tirta Empul — An ancient Hindu temple renowned for its sacred springs and traditional purification rituals.

• Goa Gajah (Elephant Cave) — An ancient temple complex with a distinctive entrance carved directly into the rock.

• Gunung Kawi — A historic sanctuary set in a lush river valley, famous for its monumental shrines carved into the cliffside.

You will then visit the famous Tegallalang rice terraces and Tegenungan Waterfall, surrounded by tropical greenery.

After a full morning of sightseeing, you will head to the Kintamani region. Here, you will enjoy lunch at a restaurant offering panoramic views of Mount Batur and Lake Batur.

In the afternoon, you will learn more about traditional Balinese life and local culture, followed by a visit to a coffee plantation where you can taste the famous Kopi Luwak as well as other local coffees and teas.

Estimated return to the hotel is between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM, depending on traffic conditions.

After breakfast, check out of your hotel and meet your driver at the reception. Today, you will leave Bali and travel to Gili Trawangan.

Your driver will take you to Padangbai Port and assist you with check-in for your speedboat. Please note that check-in is required 60 minutes before departure. After check-in, be sure to keep your paper ticket with the detachable stub, as you will need it for your return journey.

At 9:30 AM, the speedboat will depart from Padangbai. The journey to Gili Trawangan takes approximately 2.5 hours. If you are prone to motion sickness, we recommend taking anti-nausea medication before departure.

Upon arrival on Gili Trawangan, an escort holding a “MyBaliTrips” sign will meet you at the port. From there, you will board a private boat and set off on a snorkeling trip.

During the program, you will visit three spots:

• The Nest — A famous underwater installation by sculptor Jason deCaires Taylor. Several dozen human figures form a circle on the seabed and gradually become part of the surrounding coral reef.

• Turtle Point — A popular spot for observing sea turtles. With a little luck, you may see them swimming nearby in their natural habitat.

• Fish Garden — A colorful snorkeling spot with corals and a wide variety of tropical fish, including parrotfish, butterflyfish, angelfish, and other reef species.

Around 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM, you will stop on Gili Air, where you can have lunch at one of the local restaurants. Lunch is paid separately.

After lunch, the boat will take you back to Gili Trawangan, where you will check into the three-star Abdi Hotel & Bungalow.

The rest of the day is free. You can relax by the pool, take a walk around the island, or explore Gili Trawangan on your own. Bicycle rentals, horse-drawn carriage rides, and fishing trips are available for an additional fee.

In the morning, we recommend waking up early to watch the sunrise on Gili Trawangan and enjoy a relaxed breakfast at the hotel. You will need to check out by 10:00 AM and walk to the port on your own.

To check in for your return journey, please go to the boat company’s office 60 minutes before departure and present the paper ticket with the detachable stub that you kept earlier. The speedboat departs for Bali at 12:00 PM.

Upon arrival at Padangbai Port in Bali, a driver will meet you and transfer you to the four-star Rama Beach Resort. The hotel is located close to the ocean in the Kuta area, known for its beaches, restaurants, shops, and lively atmosphere.

Today is your final full day in Bali, and you can spend it exactly as you wish. Relax by the pool or on the beach, take a walk along the coast, or head to Beachwalk Shopping Center to do some shopping and pick up a few souvenirs from your trip.

In the evening, make time for one last Balinese sunset. Choose a cozy seaside café or restaurant and watch the sun set over the Indian Ocean while looking back on some of the most memorable moments of your journey.

Your journey has come to an end - it's time to say goodbye to the island and the ocean. At the right time (depending on the time of your flight), a transfer will be waiting for you at the reception of the hotel to take you to the airport.
