What To Expect
Transfer
A driver from Bali Happy will arrive at your hotel or villa for pick-up. Please wait at the hotel reception or villa entrance for your transfer.
Itinerary
- 02:30 AM: Meet your guide at Indomaret Windu Sara for a quick briefing and to receive your flashlight. Then, you'll drive with your guide to the starting point of the trek in Trunyán village. The drive takes about 30 minutes.
- 03:00 AM: Start your hike to Trunyán Hill. Enjoy a scenic journey through misty Lake Batur, lush jungles, and rolling hills.
- 06:00 AM: Reach the summit and be captivated by the sunrise with breathtaking views of Trunyán village, Mount Abang, Lake Batur, and Mount Batur. On clear days, you might also see Mount Rinjani and Mount Agung. Light snacks and water will be provided, with plenty of time to savor the sunrise and take stunning photos.
- 09:00 AM: Return to the starting point and meet your driver.
- 09:00 AM – 10:30 AM: After descending from the volcano, board a boat with your guide to visit the mystical Trunyán village. Explore the unique burial sites and immerse yourself in the rich Balinese legends. Please respect local customs and handle remains with sensitivity. After the visit, return by boat to the starting point where your transfer will be waiting.
- 11:00 AM – 01:00 PM: Unwind in the volcanic hot springs at the base of the volcano. Nestled under the shade of sprawling trees, enjoy a variety of baths with temperatures ranging from 30 to 50 degrees Celsius. The mineral-rich waters are perfect for relaxation and rejuvenation. You can also enjoy lunch or breakfast on the premises.
- 01:30 PM: Savor a delicious breakfast at the view point cafe.
Return Transfer
Your driver will be waiting at the parking area. Once everyone is ready, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel or villa. Travel time depends on traffic and your destination.
Note
We are not responsible for weather conditions on your trek date. Weather in the Batur caldera is unpredictable, and fog, rain, and low visibility are possible, especially during the rainy season.

Cancellation Policy
- Refunds for services are processed with a 10% deduction from the payment amount if the cancellation is made by the client at least 24 hours before the event or if there is an official document from a medical institution confirming hospitalization.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the event will incur a 100% penalty of the tour cost.
- Refunds are processed at the exchange rate set by the Indonesian bank on the day of payment.
- A full refund will be issued if the service provider is unable to deliver the service as promised.
- Refund requests are reviewed within 5 calendar days of receipt.
- Refunds are processed within 14 calendar days of receipt.
