What To Expect
Day 1 – Arrival in Sumbawa and Relaxation
10:30 AM – Upon arrival at Sultan Kaharuddin Airport (SWQ) in Sumbawa Besar, you will be greeted by a Sumbawa Holiday driver. After a short introduction, you will head to the hotel for check-in.
11:00 AM – Check-in at Samawa Seaside Resort. After the journey, you'll have time to relax and acclimate.
Free time – You may unwind at the hotel, take a walk around the area, or enjoy dinner at a local restaurant (optional, at your own expense).
Day 2 – Snorkeling with Whale Sharks and Return
2:00 AM – Early morning departure from the hotel. You will travel to the eastern coast of Sumbawa, to Labuan Jambu Village. The drive takes approximately 2 hours.
4:00 AM – Arrival at the harbor and boarding a motorboat. You’ll set out for Whale Shark Point, a site known for frequent whale shark sightings.
5:30 AM – Snorkeling with whale sharks in Sumbawa begins. At sunrise, the chances of encountering these gentle giants are especially high. You'll have the chance to swim alongside them in their natural habitat.
8:00 AM – A light breakfast will be served on board: bread, fresh fruit, tea, and coffee.
8:30 AM – Depart from the snorkeling site and return to shore.
10:00 AM – Arrival at Labuan Jambu Harbor and a short rest before the drive back.
11:30 AM – Transfer back to Sumbawa Besar. The trip takes around 2 hours.
3:30 PM – Upon arrival, you may choose to stay at any hotel in Sumbawa or continue your journey through the island.
Important Information:
- MyBaliTrips.com is not responsible for the presence of whale sharks during the snorkeling activity (clause 7.3 of the user agreement).
- If large waves occur at the snorkeling site on the day of the activity, the company reserves the right to change the snorkeling location for your safety.
Cancellation Policy
- Refunds are processed with a 10% deduction if the cancellation is made by the client at least 48 hours before the event or with an official hospital document.
- Refunds are based on the exchange rate set by the Bank of Indonesia on the payment date.
- Full refunds are provided if the provider is unable to deliver the service fully.
- Refund requests are reviewed within 5 business days of the request date.
- Refunds are issued within 5 banking days from the agreement of the refund decision.
