What To Expect
Day 1 – Arrival in Sumbawa and Transfer to Labuan Jambu
10:30 AM – Upon arrival at Sultan Kaharuddin Airport (SWQ) in Sumbawa Besar, you will be greeted by a Sumbawa Holiday driver. After a short welcome, you will head into town.
11:00 AM – Visit the Sultan's Palace, a historical complex that offers insights into the rich culture and traditions of Sumbawa.
12:00 PM – Enjoy lunch in Sumbawa Besar Town, where you’ll be able to try authentic local dishes at a trusted local café.
1:30 PM – Depart for Labuan Jambu Village. The road trip will take approximately 2 hours. On the way, you’ll see rice fields, coastal scenery, and traditional island life.
4:00 PM – Check-in at Hotel Villa Beach Transit 2, located near the harbor. You’ll have time to rest in a simple but cozy room.
7:00 PM – Free time. Dinner is available at the hotel (optional), offering Indonesian dishes and fresh seafood.
Day 2 – Whale Shark Snorkeling and Return
3:30 AM – Early morning pickup from the hotel. You will be transferred to the harbor where the boat will be waiting.
3:40 AM – Depart by motorboat to Whale Shark Point, one of the best spots in Sumbawa to see whale sharks.
6:00 AM – Arrive at the snorkeling location. Enjoy a unique opportunity to swim and snorkel with whale sharks at sunrise — the best time of day for sightings.
8:00 AM – A light breakfast will be served on the boat: bread, fruit, tea, and coffee.
8:30 AM – Depart from the whale shark point and return to shore.
10:00 AM – Arrive back at Labuan Jambu Harbor.
11:00 AM – Return to the hotel, pack up, and check out.
11:30 AM – Transfer back to Sumbawa Besar. The journey takes approximately 2 hours.
12:30 PM – Optional lunch stop at a local café (not included in the tour price).
3:30 PM – Arrival at your hotel. End of service.
Important Information

Hotel accommodation and transfer on Day 2 are not included in the tour price. For your convenience, you can book our “Sumbawa Island Tour” (2 Days / 1 Night + 1 Day), which includes hotel and airport transfer, or you may arrange accommodation independently.

MyBaliTrips.com is not responsible for the presence of whale sharks during the snorkeling activity (see clause 7.3 of the user agreement).

If there are large waves at the snorkeling site on the day of the trip, the company reserves the right to replace the snorkeling location with an alternative for your safety.
Cancellation Policy
- Refunds are processed with a 10% deduction if the cancellation is made by the client at least 48 hours before the event or with an official hospital document.
- Refunds are based on the exchange rate set by the Bank of Indonesia on the payment date.
- Full refunds are provided if the provider is unable to deliver the service fully.
- Refund requests are reviewed within 5 business days of the request date.
- Refunds are issued within 5 banking days from the agreement of the refund decision.
