Yacht-Kreuzfahrt Komodo – Sumbawa – Lombok auf der Sukha Sail 1

Jenseits von Bali
Sumbawa

What to expect

Day 1 — First Encounters with Komodo & Overnight Near Padar Island

11:00 — Your journey begins. After check-in and a welcome briefing with the crew, your yacht will set sail into Komodo National Park, one of Indonesia’s most breathtaking marine reserves.

Your first stop will be the famous Manta Point, where you will enjoy your first snorkeling session in crystal-clear waters. With a bit of luck, you may encounter majestic giant manta rays, which can be seen here throughout the year.

Next, the yacht will cruise to Taka Makassar—a stunning white sandbank surrounded by brilliant turquoise waters. Take a stroll along the sand, capture unforgettable photos, and soak in the spectacular scenery.

The adventure continues on Komodo Island, where you will join a guided trek accompanied by a local park ranger. During the walk, you will have the opportunity to observe the legendary Komodo dragons in their natural habitat while discovering the island's unique wildlife and landscapes.

After the trek, you will relax at the famous Pink Beach, one of the few beaches in the world with naturally pink sand, created by countless tiny fragments of red coral.

Towards the evening, the yacht will sail to Padar Island, where it will anchor for the night. Enjoy dinner on board, unwind under the stars, and spend your first night surrounded by the spectacular islands of the Komodo archipelago.

Day 2 — Sunrise on Padar Island & Sailing to Saleh Bay

04:00 — Early morning wake-up.

Before sunrise, you will set out on the iconic hike to the summit of Padar Island. From the top, you will witness the first rays of sunlight illuminating the Komodo archipelago and admire one of Indonesia's most recognizable and photographed landscapes.

After returning to the yacht and enjoying breakfast, you will begin the long cruise toward Saleh Bay on the island of Sumbawa. Spend the day relaxing on deck, taking in endless ocean views, and enjoying the atmosphere of a true island-hopping adventure.

As evening falls, the yacht will continue sailing toward the location where one of the most unforgettable experiences of the journey awaits the following morning.

Day 3 — Whale Sharks & Overnight Near Kenawa Island

05:00 — Early morning wake-up.

At sunrise, the yacht will arrive in Saleh Bay—one of the few places in the world where whale sharks can regularly be observed in their natural habitat. Weather and sea conditions permitting, you will have the opportunity to snorkel alongside these gentle giants while observing them from a safe and respectful distance.

After breakfast, the journey continues to Savana Beach, where you can relax, swim, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of this beautiful coastline.

Later in the afternoon, the yacht will sail toward Kenawa Island, where it will remain anchored overnight. Spend the evening on board watching the sunset and unwinding after another memorable day at sea.

Day 4 — Sunrise on Kenawa Island & End of the Journey

Early in the morning, you may hike to the summit of Kenawa Island, where breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding islands and calm turquoise waters await. It is the perfect place to watch your final sunrise and capture the last unforgettable photographs of your adventure.

After returning to the yacht, you will begin the final cruise to Kayangan Harbor on Lombok Island.

Around 12:00, the yacht will arrive at Kayangan Harbor, marking the end of your sea expedition. After disembarkation, a shuttle bus will transfer you to the final point of the program on Lombok Island.
