What To Expect

Meeting the guide before the ascent

To commence your adventure, please arrive at the Pineh Trekking base no later than 3 a.m. Once you're at the base, you'll meet your fellow group members and your knowledgeable guide. The guide will conduct a brief orientation session and equip you with a flashlight. To fuel up for your ascent, a light breakfast will be provided, featuring delicious sweet banana pancakes, along with your choice of tea or coffee. Following this, our company vehicle will transport you to the starting point where your ascent will commence.

Climbing Mount Batur

The ascent of Mount Batur begins promptly at 4 a.m. To make your journey to the 1,717 meters above sea level more enjoyable, there will be several scheduled stops along the way. Your ultimate goal is to reach the volcano's summit just in time for the sunrise. At the top, you'll be treated to a breathtaking view of the caldera and the tranquil mountain lake, shrouded in the ethereal morning mist. Light snacks and mineral water will be provided at this point, giving you ample time to savor the sunrise and capture stunning photographs. Following this, you'll commence your descent back to the starting point, and our company vehicle will return you to the base.
